A brand of Archipelagic Vector Logic Private Limited
ArcVect is a brand of Archipelagic Vector Logic Private Limited. We develop and distribute mobile applications including a gaming application and a customised application for the maritime industry (collectively, "Applications" or "Services").
This Privacy Policy governs your use of our Applications and describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information. It applies to all users worldwide, including children, with additional protections for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, United States, and India.
Our Applications are designated for all audiences under Google Play's Families Policy. We apply the highest applicable standard of child data protection across all jurisdictions we operate in.
By downloading, installing, or using any of our Applications, you acknowledge you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or guardian installing on behalf of a child, your acceptance of this Policy on their behalf is required. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
We do not require users to create accounts or submit personal registration or contact details. The following information is collected automatically through the Android platform and Google Play Services:
All in-app purchases and subscription billing are processed entirely by Google Play. We receive only anonymised transaction confirmation data (order reference, subscription status). We do not collect, transmit, or store any payment card or financial account details.
Certain features (particularly the maritime application) allow you to enter operational data such as vessel name, IMO number, and voyage details. This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to or accessible by ArcVect unless you explicitly choose to export it to a cloud service of your own selection (see Section 6).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
Depending on the applicable law, we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:
For users in India: processing is conducted in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). For users in the EEA/UK: processing is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national legislation. For processing involving children's data, we apply the highest applicable standard of consent across all relevant jurisdictions.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use third-party vendors or service providers who process personal data on our behalf. Data sharing is limited strictly to the following circumstances:
Our Applications are distributed via Google Play. Google Play Services, including the Android Advertising ID framework and in-app billing, operate under Google's own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Families Policy.
The maritime application provides an optional feature allowing you to export your on-device data to a cloud storage service of your own choice (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other service you select). ArcVect has no access to, control over, or responsibility for data once exported. Such exports are governed solely by the privacy policy of your chosen cloud provider.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide prior notice via in-app notification before such a transfer occurs.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of ArcVect, our users, or the public.
We may share your information in any other circumstances only with your explicit prior consent.
A core principle of ArcVect's Applications is that all user-generated data is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your application data:
User-generated data is stored on-device and not held by ArcVect. The retention periods below apply only to the limited platform-level data we receive:
| Data Type | Held By | Retention Period |
|---|---|---|
| Android Advertising ID (AAID) & analytics events | ArcVect (aggregated / anonymised) | Up to 24 months |
| Crash logs and error reports | ArcVect | 12 months |
| Transaction confirmation data (Google Play) | ArcVect | 7 years (financial / tax compliance) |
| Security and fraud detection logs | ArcVect | 12 months |
| User-generated application data | On your device only | Until you delete the app or the data manually |
When retained data is no longer required, we securely delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
We will respond to requests within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
Our Applications are designated for all audiences, including children, and comply fully with the Google Play Families Policy. We apply the following principles:
In accordance with applicable law:
Parents and guardians wishing to review or request deletion of any platform-level data associated with their child's device may contact us at arcvectdev@arcvect.com.
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the limited data we hold:
Because user-generated application data is stored on your device, the security of that data also depends on your device's own security settings (e.g., screen lock, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device OS and Application updated to benefit from the latest security improvements.
In the event of a data incident affecting data we hold, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.
Our primary operations are based in India (Bangalore). The limited data we hold (analytics, crash logs, transaction confirmations) may be processed in countries where our platform partner, Google, operates its infrastructure. Because we do not operate our own servers or cloud infrastructure for user data, international transfer risks are significantly limited.
Where personal data is transferred outside your country of residence through platform services, we rely on Google's applicable transfer mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). We also comply with India's DPDPA cross-border transfer provisions.
Our Applications integrate Google Play Services. These services may independently collect and process data under Google's own privacy policy. The relevant components are:
We do not integrate any additional third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or data-processing SDKs beyond those provided by Google Play Services. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Families Policy.
Our Applications are distributed via the Google Play Store. All in-app purchases and subscription billing are handled exclusively by Google Play. We receive only anonymised transaction confirmation data (order reference, subscription status). Payment card information is processed solely by Google and is never transmitted to or stored by ArcVect.
Our data safety declaration on Google Play is consistent with the disclosures in this Privacy Policy.
Our customised application for the maritime industry involves operational data entry. The following additional terms apply:
Our mobile Applications do not use browser cookies. The following platform-level tracking technology may be active:
Our landing page and website may use essential functional cookies. A cookie notice will be presented on your first visit to any ArcVect web property.
You have the rights described in Section 8. Our legal bases for processing are set out in Section 4. For EEA/UK users, Archipelagic Vector Logic Private Limited acts as the data controller for the limited platform-level data we hold. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK, or your national DPA within the EEA). Our Applications comply with age-appropriate design requirements applicable in the EEA and UK.
We comply with applicable US state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal data), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because our Applications do not collect personal information as defined under COPPA from children under 13 beyond resettable device-level identifiers managed within Google Play's COPPA-compliant framework, verifiable parental consent is not required for basic app usage. Parents may contact us at any time for further information or to request data deletion.
We are a Data Fiduciary as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We process personal data lawfully, fairly, and with appropriate notice. You have the rights listed in Section 8, including the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf. Complaints may be submitted to the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted. Our Grievance Officer contact is provided in Section 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of our Applications following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
For any questions, concerns, or requests relating to your personal data, or to exercise your rights under this Policy, please contact:
For EEA/UK users, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or place of work if you believe our processing infringes applicable law.
Parents or guardians submitting requests on behalf of a child should indicate this clearly in their communication.
